I have been trying to figure out how much yardage I will need to make fabric covers for my dogs crates. One crate is 30" L x 21" W x 24"H and the other crate is 42" L x 28"W x 31"H

The fabric is 58" wide.

PLEASE HELP ME !!!

THANK YOU :)

Answer
Why not use a sheet!! I've done this with my crates - cheap, less fuss and very effective.

ps To the person who suggests otherwise, actually covering the top and 3 sides of a crate is by far the best way to use a crate - it makes them into a little den, a safe and quite spot for a dog to take a nap in peace. And it shuts out any drafts that may be around where the crate is situated. If the dog is crated, and in a draft, he stands no chance of getting out of it.

I have the i have the Precision Pet ProValu Dog Crate 42''L x 28''W x 30''H. How do i dissaseemble it?

I am moving soon and I have no idea how to unassemble the crate since the i bought it in the summer and the instructions are long gone. Is there any way to get the instructions online?

Answer
Ok, I looked it up online and its like mine, but different company.

You want to close up the door.
Have one hand on the top near the front
One hand on the door
Lift up the top of the cage with your hand
Then you should be able to push the door inward inside the cage.

Then go to the back of the cage and lift up on the top, while you push inward the back.

Then its kind of weird the way it folds down, but you will figure that out ok.

Go ahead and see if you can do it and let me know.
