For the past couple weeks my 6 month old puppy has decided to start yelping/whining/crying at night when we put her in her crate... She has never done this before and we have had her since she was 2 months old. It literatly sounds like someone is strangling her as she is trying to bark.. she will do this for up to 10 minutes at a time and then finally stop but then at random times in the night she will do it again.. it is so loud that it wakes me up. Her crate is not too big and not too small. Everyone is telling me it sounds like anxiety... Yet she just started this only at night a couple weeks ago... I went and let her out of her crate when she was doing it one night just to see how she would react and it seemed like she just wanted out.. now the past 4-5 nights she has began pooping all over her crate and it is runny.. yet all day Long when she goles outside her poop is normal and solid.. she is really stressing me out considering im already under so much stress being 38 weeks pregnant and it is getting ridiculous! I just want to know what is wrong with my dog.. any help is greatly appreciated! Why is my dog suddenly yelping in her crate at night

Answer
If she is suddenly yelping in the crate now, and "uses the bathroom" in her crate, while it being runny, it could be anxiety, because people with anxiety usually have the same "bathroom problems", or it could be a type of food that's making her stomach hurt, and want to go outside.

How much does it cost per year for a Samoyed puppy?

We are most likely getting it from a breeder who has all there shots done and 2 year warranty on common health problems.

Samoyeds are intelligent, gentle, friendly, loyal and affectionate. Sammys have none of the aggressiveness found in other sled dogs. The breed loves people, especially children and makes an outstanding family pet. However Sammys have a reputation for stubbornness that is not fully deserved. They need early socialization and obedience training that must be started when they are young puppies. Training must be carefully and sensitively undertaken by ensuring that the Samoyed understands what is required. All training must be done using food and praise and never through physical enforcement. If you try jerking a Sammy around by his lead and collar then you will create a stubborn dog. Sammyâs have a great sense of humour and often seem to be laughing at you while failing to understand a standard command. Persevere and you will be rewarded. Samoyeds can bark a lot and make pretty good watchdogs but since they like everybody, they will cheerfully welcome burglars. Sammys do fine with novice or first time dog owners
