Dog agility info please help!?

I have signed up my black lab for a agility class in July and i would like to know a little more about it. I have been in love with agility forever and know all of the obsticles and the basic rules but i would like to know how i would go about competing when im ready. also, where can i find cheap agility obstacles because everywhere i look it would cost me $2000+ and i dont have that kind of money.
i live in south jersey and i would like to know if there is any place where i can go and just practice, because i know that the place i am going to has a open agility class, but thats $150 for 6 weeks

also, any other information i should know about agility thanks!

In the UK we have the Kennel Club, they give out information about competitions. They also have lists of Agility Clubs which cost a lot less to join than classes. I am sure that you will have the equivalent of the Kennel Club in your neck of the woods, try Google.

If you have enough space at home get someone to make a few jumps.You will find instructions on how to make these on the Internet and do practise your obedience training, it's vital if you want to do Agility.
