Northern Va: Cat sitting exchange/boarding?

We will be out of the country for 3-4 months and would like to have a nice family take care of our cat during that time. He is a smart 3 year old coon cat with a lot of character. We would do the same in exchange (or pay for the boarding). Anyone interested?

Be sure to check people's background thoroughly to avoid dishonest individuals who could disappear with your cat or do something more unsavoury such as sell your pet cat to research labs, use for dog fight training... all which happens all too often.

I really don't want to drive it alone and have been checking out the autotrain routes. However they only allow service dogs on board. Any ideas on how I can transport both my car and pet to Virginia from Arkansas without making that drive? Thanks for the info!

I have a friend that needs to go from Little Rock to Northern VA leaving around June 5th. He is looking for someone that needs their vehicle transported.
