Do they make extra large crate for big dogs like my dobe?

My doberman Thor has the largest crate ive found at pet stores and as hes grown to almost a year now, he cant stad up proper in his crate. The top of the crate is about 3 inches from the top of his back. Where can i find a crate big enough for him to be comfortable and stand if hd wants to? Im worried he will develop neck problems. Hes probably 3 to 3'5" on all fours.

A wide range of crates, some in fashion colors which would be for the owner's benefit not the dog's at it would not care if it as pretty blue or black, for all sizes, including a Doberman and range of prices, some quite reasonable.

Perhaps you should measure your Doberman again as three foot would make him 36 inches at the withers and the standard for what is a medium size breed is between 27 â 28 inches (Fédération Cynologique Internationale Dobermann standard, size 63 â 68 cm)

What is the best sized crate for my female Sheltie?

I'm planning to build my own dog crate using wood, and I want to know what's the best size for a full grown female Sheltie (l X w X h). I know that a crate should be just big enough for a dog to stand comfortably, turn round, and lie down, but that doesn't really help me to determine exactly how big I should make my coming Sheltie's crate. Please help? And thanks in advance!

Why bother? You can get perfectly good crates in any pet shop, and for a dog that small, for under $24:
