I'm trying to explain to a customer who is french about picking the name( i dont speak french). i'm going to run them through a translator, but i need some examples for him. so, whats your dogs show name?

Answer
Kennel names, or affixes, are a very individual thing. I chose mine from a place name (actually the Roman equivalent of a town we had lived in in the UK, before moving to Canada - sadly as there is no reciprocal agreement between Kennel Clubs, that affix had been taken by somebody else on our return to the UK so we had to think of another!!). Others will use a combination of their two names (if there are two people involved). And so on. So sorry, I can't help you.

I would like to start up a dog kennel and reptile breeding buisness in the near future because I just love dogs and exotic animals, but what would be an interesting name for such a place. I'd like a professional name, of course nothing too dumb and corny or anything. What do you think of CanineHerps? I thought of that name because dogs are, of course called canines (or canids) and we associate reptiles & amphibians with herping, herpetoculture, and herpetology and I thought that name would fit, but what are some others that can tell people its a place for dogs and reptiles?

Well...it would be an attention grabber, since most people would read it as Canine Herpes. That's what I did when I skimmed your question...

And sorry, but unless you're going to be a "satellite" agency to your local Humane Society and deal only with rescue dogs, I doubt you're going to get much help from the folks on this forum. We detest puppy mills.

What should i do about my dogs kennel cough?

my dog as kennel cough, is there anything i should do?
were going to the vet tomorrow and im just keeping her, my dog, in the house until then. I wasn't sure if there was anything i should do in the meantime.

Sorry to hear your pooch is sick. Yes, and what you can do to help your dog is take your dog to the vet before it dies and infects other dogs!

Kennel cough is caused by viral infections such as canine distemper, canine adenovirus, canine parainfluenza virus, or canine respiratory coronavirus, or bacterial infections such as Bordetella bronchiseptica. It is named "Kennel Cough", because the infection can spread quickly among dogs, such as in the close quarters of a kennel. It is highly contagious, even days or weeks after symptoms disappear. Symptoms begin usually 3 to 5 days after exposure and can progress to pneumonia.

Please if you love, your animals take him/her to the vet for antibiotics and once it is completely gone vaccinate your dog!

Her last name is deal so i suggested dealin aces or deal breaker huskies but i think shes wanting something more like siberian nights, royal, or majestic or something along those lines. Any suggestions?
