Dog travel from Syd to Gold Coast?

Q. I need to get from sydney to the gold coast with my great dane and I can't drive. Qantas and Virgin Blue allow pets but their crate must be under 84 cm and my crate is 87 cm and Jetstar doesnt allow pets. Does anybody know of another airline that allows larger cages or something like that? Thanks in advance!

Heather, I think if you contact an organization called Animal Agencies or Animal Transport in Sydney, they will put you on the right road, or contact the Export Department of Grace International, I think there in Seven Hills, and ask who they use.

Need indestructible cage for Mastiff?

He has broken out the regular large dog wire crates (by bending the door down!!), he escaped selfmade crate made of 2x4's (chewed threw and pooped out the top boards with tons of screws!!).
Help, he destroys the house when he is home alone. Anybody have an idea? He is fine in the crate when I am home but when I am gone, all bets are off...

No cage is indestructible. However, the best wire crates on the market are "Central Metal" crates. and "East Coast" crates for solid crates made from aircraft grade aodized aluminum. Neither are cheap. Both last forever!
