Just saw that they opened a high end hotel for dogs in Chelsea, New York City for people who just can't use a regular dog boarding kennel.

Q. in case i might be going anywhere, the two places that i might be traveling to are new york city and los angeles (i live in mass) i would love to take my pets but i'm scared of putting them on airplanes because i am not sure if it is safe, also i don't think that they would be comfortable. my cat is.. what's a word i could use. very scared. any help or suggestions?

Get a pet carrier for the cat, and take it on board. Make sure you let them know that you have a cabin pet when you make your reservation. If your dog is big, he'll have to go underneath. Make sure you have vet papers no more than 10 days before your scheduled departure. Make sure your dog is able to comfortably move around and stand in the kennel. I've had to turn away customers because the kennels they had for the dog was too small. You'll have to pay to ship the dog, not sure if the cabin pet is free.
