Dog crate in Bulgaria????

Q. Hi everyone, we are a scots couple who have moved to bulgaria, we now have a 12 week old pup who we need to crate train (thanks to advice from you lot after the first question about her) My problem now is that Bulgaria dont have dog crates, well not that i can find anyway, does anyone know of any company , UK or U.S, that will ship one over here? Ive already tried many sites on the web but not one will ship over here.

Answer
Does Bulgaria have eBay access?
You can also make one. I'll see if I can find plans.
Here's one:

And two more:

(Three different types.)
That one site has crate training tips, too!

Would 2 male ferrets be able to get out of a large dog crate?

Q. Just curious, since I have 2 free roam ferrets but they refuse to sleep when I go to bed. They share my bedroom with me and are constantly nibbling my feet during the night! :-) They have a cage in which they sleep sometimes but it's not a very big cage and they get out of it frequently. I'm considering purchasing a large dog crate since they're cheaper than a ferret cage and I still want my boys to be free roam, I just want them to have somewhere nice, quite roomy, and secure for them to be in whilst I'm asleep.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks in advance.

P.S the crate I'm looking at is the second one, the one underneath the wooden one on here

They throw themselves at the door whilst one and it swings open quite regularly. I'm generally not happy with that cage lol hence looking for a dog crate.
i don't know where the 'whilst one' came from :S

you think a dog crate would be safe then? I was just worried about the bar spacing to be honest, looks as if they might get through at the bottom.

Answer
I do not think a dog crate is an efficient ferret cage even if they are only in it when you sleeping. I have never seen a dog crate with 1 inch bar spacing and that is what you need. I have one right behind me that I keep open and mine go and sleep in there sometimes when they are out of their ferret nation 142 cage (which is whenever I am awake) and they can slip through the bars if I were to shut them in. I have two girls and two 3-4 lb boys.

Here is very nice and escape proof cage made just for ferrets. It seems to be around the same price you were wanting to spend AND it has levels which means extra space which a dog crate does not have.

I'm almost positive you will like it :]

Edit: It is IMPOSSIBLE for a ferret even at 8 weeks old and if a female to fit through 1 inch bar spacing so don't worry. 1 1/2 inch's in another story, it is a big difference.

I have had ferrets for 2 years and have 4 of them. I got 3 as 8 week olds and none were even close to being able to fit through the bars.
