Getting a dog... help?

Q. Im getting a new dog this week and its mu first one so I need help on what food brand to buy it. How to potty train it. What to do with it when im at school and anymore helpful information. Also I would like to know about how much it costs to get vaccinations and check ups and also when I can start taking of out like to the pet store and stuff like that thank you!

Answer
Food:Many food brands are adjusted to a breed of dog.Don't feel sorry if you spend a bit more money on a quality food.Miniature dogs like chihuahua or toy poodle like small biscuits, sort of a cat food (but look for dog food!)
Small dogs like pomeranian, yorkie or pug prefer food for small dogs.
Medium dogs like beagle, cocker or corgi also prefer food for their sizes.
Big and XXL dogs often eat large biscuits that came in 150 kg bags.
Good pet food brands are:Eukanuba,Pedigree and Chappie (I use those for my dog)
Potty train:Find a good and calm place for your pup to pee.He can also pee outside but make sure your yard is safe. When your puppy starts kneeling, take him to his pee place and when he finishes his business, reward him. When he pees somewhere else, just say bad boy/girl! with low and doubtless voice.Don't punish him.Eventualy,he will learn.Repeat eveytime he kneels and gets ready to pee.
Home alone: Make sure he has plenty of water and food and someone to take care of him (if possible).Give him toys and chew bones so he isn't bored. You can turn on wireless radio and prepare him a place next to a window so he can look what is happening outside.
Hotels:The price depends on how long you will stay and In some places, the size of a dog.
Pet stores:He is never too old to go to the pet shop. However, bad pet shops don't allow animals in the store.Avoid them.
Vaccinations:Consult a vet. Most needed vaccinations are for kennel cough, distemper, coronavirus, parvo, canine adenovirus and rabies.
Quick tips:
1.Pick a good vet!
2.Start training him as soon as he gets home.
3.Get him to know your family and friends.
4.Make sure he has: Food,toys,brush and combs,collar and lead,bed,shampoo,and optional,a crate.

Good luck with your new friend ;)

What size crate should I use?

Q. I have two boxers that I will be crate training at once...
One is going to be around 55 pounds and one should be 45.

I wanted to keep them in the same crate, but don't know what size to get.
Maybe an XXL size for the both of them?

Answer
You can't keep them in the same crate. They both need their own. You buy a crate based on size, breed, and height of the dog.

You can find them here for almost 70% less than the store:
