Or, where can i find these? I need to make sure the kennel I have is the correct type.. they have to be bolted, right?

If you want safety -- a VariKennel is best (assuming you don't want to buy a $700 aluminum crate).
Other plastic crates are softer material and don't have as strong doors.
The BIGGEST issue with shipping dogs is escapes. Sometimes the dog escapes into the airport (I was shipped a b*tch who my first view of her was gaiting across the parking lot being chased by cargo handlers - it was a *7* mile chase - wore the pads off her feet and created a 6 month retraining period to get her over her fear of men because they tried to tackle her). Sometimes the dog escapes into the belly of the airplane (Samoyed Nat'l Specialty & Eukanuba Breed winner did this on the way home from Eukanuba and died from lack of oxygen). So.....
you need to zip tie the door shut!!!!!
To do this: Drill a hole on the lip of the crate an inch or two from where the pegs for the door go through. Slip zip tie through door grate and through the hole and tighten --- top and bottom.
Bonus Hint: You have to provide water. BEST way to do this is to freeze water in a disposable plastic tub (margarine, sour cream). Put 2 holes just below the rim of the tub and zip tie to the door. No spillage - water available for many hours.
