I wanted a puppy but i just moved here with my family and i have no idea where the pet stores are in this state. Please help me find a good store. Thanks:D

Don't go to a pet store -- they only receive their puppies from mills. No breeder worth spit would sell their puppies to a middle man.
Don't use craigslist - you have no guarantee and no place to return the pup or complain if things go wrong.
Your best bet is to visit your local animal shelter. There will be numerous puppies and adult dogs available. Please consider adopting an adult or even a senior dog. They need homes too and often are fully trained and house-broken (a major plus!!!). Obviously - if you just moved with your family - it's going to be a family decision. So - get everyone together and figure out the characteristics you want in a dog. You may find out that you want a pure-bred dog. Then use the AKC's website to find a reputable breeder in your area. If no breeders are listed - try your local kennel club -- there are numerous AKC clubs (breed specific and general dog clubs) in NC.

Good affordable doberman ear crop in charlotte nc?

I would like to find a good vet to do a good crop... I DO NOT NEED YOUR NEGATIVE INSITE. IM ASKIN FOR VET INFO ONLY NOT YOUR INPUT ON MY CHOICE TO CROP MY DOGS EARS.... im going to do it so please dont waste your breath or my time.... thank you in advance to all that give me some good info :) i want it done right for her

Go the website of the DPCA (Doberman Pinscher Club of America) and look at the breeder referral list for your area. Contact a couple of those breeders and ask them which Vet they use. Please don't just use any old Vet. You might be very sorry if your Dobe ends up with a crop like an APBT normally has, and once the ear leather is cut off, it can't be glued back on. Take my advice. You won't be sorry in the long run, but also keep in mind that if you want the ears to stand correctly, you have to be also willing to *post* them properly for months. If you don't, the whole procedure will be worthless. Oh, you didn't say how old your pup is. Cropping is usually done between 8-12 weeks on a Dobe.

Keep in mind that Sharon is a VERY busy person, as she is not only a breeder, she's also an AKC judge, so you might not be able to get ahold of her on the weekends. She owned the Sire to my last co-owned show dog. My show dog was purchased from Gorrmae Dobes. Both Sire and Dam of my dog were finished Champions, not that it matters any to you.
