Hi there. were looking for a chihuahua or chihuahua cross. Were in perth and was woundering if anybody is selling. preferably £0-£400. weve looked everywhere for them. must get along with other dogs. will go to loving home.

Has anyone put their dog in quarantine in another country?

My husband is thinking about taking a job in Australia for 2 years. I am so worried about my dog. She is so loving. I want to know what happens to them if we can not see her in quarantine because she is too far away. Is she going to be abuse and neglected. We do not crate her. So how is this going to affect her. Will they feed her right or give her medication for her hips. Is she going to have any contact with other dogs. I say no job is worth putting her though this. Am I just over protective? She brings us so much joy in our lives.

it is only 30 days and while i can not comment on australian quarantine, before the pet passport i was going to move to england and the quarantine was 6 months but my dog would have gone to a family not a kennel ... she would have had no contact with anyone but the family for six months ... to me that was too long but 30 days is not too harsh ...
