I have a Petmate wire dog crate. I need replacement parts, where can I find them?

It is a Petmate Kennel Up Wire Dog crate. (Item #21067)
I already checked the Petmate website, but the only replacement part they have is the plastic tray (which I don't need).
I need the little clasps that hold the sides together. The crate falls apart. I bought the crate out of the paper, so I don't know if it would still be in warranty or not. I really need the clasps though, do you have any idea where I could get some?

Questions about making a mouse cage?

I'm thinking of making a mouse cage for as cheap as i can without sparing too much quality and security.
After looking at a couple web sites of people who made some, my plan so far:
buying a replacement pan for dog crates, the down side is that the sides are only about an inch.
as well as either 1/8" or 1/4" hardware cloth/mesh to make most of the cage.
over all the cage would end up around 30" tall. I would add in 2-3 extra levels.
the basic design is the wire top sitting on top or the dog pan, and attaced with some springs.
I would need to add around 2 doors.

hopefully that wasn't to sketchy, so any ways, here are my questions, and any tip are great too.

-for the extra level's floors, would the 1/4" mesh okay to use, or is it to big for mice feet? can I put something on top of it, like card board, that i can change or clean? would the 1/8" be okay, or should i use something different all together.

-If i overlap the door quite a bit and use 2 springs to close it, will it be secure enough that the mice can't get out? what can I do to make it more secure if not?

-Will the dog pan work alright? I don't like how short it is, but litter spilling is not a big deal. the reason I like it is: it's easy to clean, it's durable, it's not tacky, it isn't a weird shape like every container at the stores and it's cheaper then other options. another option in replacement trays/pans from other "small animal" cages for other web sites. bet they tend to be a bit more pricey then the dog pans.

-What other options do i have besides the dog pans, other "small animal" pans, plastic storage containers or litter boxes?

i just made a cage for my rats, and the best litter pan is a cat litter box! they work great and are 4 inches high, and 1/8 mesh is fine for mice, you could do the cage in 1/4 and do just the levels in 1/8 if you want and my cage also has to doors and my rats havent opened it with one spring so 2 should be fine, also i have cardboard on my levels, it works best to just cut up cereal boxes
